This morning you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at your accommodation. Today you will get to experience one of your first free sightseeing inclusions, the West Coast Wildlife Centre. Take a self-guided tour and see live young kiwi in a natural bush walkthrough & discover highly endangered Tuatara.
Depart Glacier Country and head south towards Wanaka. Along the way, you will be spoiled with scenery as you travel through Haast, Makarora, Lake Hawea and into Wanaka. Check into your accommodation
Today you will take a gentle cruise to the jewel of Wanaka, Ruby Island. Experience magnificent alpine scenery complimented by the crystal clear waters of Lake Wanaka. Pull into a secluded beach and discover the ruins of the 1920's dance hall from the days of prohibition along with great photo opportunities.
Depart Wanaka and make your way to the lakeside alpine city of Queenstown. On the way, take a stop at the picturesque town of Arrowtown, the perfect spot to snap a beautiful winter photo and grab some lunch. Continue the short drive to Queenstown.
Today you will be treated to a day within one of New Zealand’s prettiest destinations. You might like to head for a stroll along the lakefront in the morning and enjoy a coffee, or simply enjoy some retail therapy. This afternoon you will embark on a Gibbston Valley Wine & Cheese tour, tasting some of the regions most prized wines & cheeses, in New Zealand’s largest wine cave.
Today you will start the scenic drive from Queenstown to Mt Cook. Upon arriving, check into your accommodation at the perfectly positioned Hermitage Mt Cook.
Enjoy today to explore New Zealand’s tallest Mountain. Make use of your included Explorer Pass at the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre and journey through the museum and watch a 3D Movie.
Enjoy the morning at leisure before commencing your drive to Christchurch.
Climb aboard the Christchurch Tram for a unique experience combining history and sightseeing before unwinding on the Avon River for an informative punt ride as you glide by the picturesque Botanic Gardens.
